Well well well , We share learnt some thing during sermon talk today isn't ? REPENTANCE LEADS TO REVIVAL. Repentance means to STOP , TURN ,WALK . Stop when you are away from god . Turn 18o degrees from the place you were Walk back to God and Walk with God . Major Causes for Spiritual dryness - NO REPENTANCE ! When you read the Bible ,spot this PATTERNS ! God's unconditional Promise,Love . God's word : Never will I leave you /forsake you . God's Conditional Blessings . [2 Chronicles 7:14] if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. God want to heal the land ,but the condition is that the people must seek God's face ! IF YOU REPENT , YOU'LL GAIN REVIVAL . [Joel 2 :12-17] Even now," declares the LORD, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning." Rend your heart and not your garments.Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate,slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing— grain offerings and drink offerings for the LORD your God. Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast,call a sacred assembly. Gather the people,consecrate the assembly;bring together the elders,gather the children, those nursing at the breast.Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the LORD,weep between the temple porch and the altar. I need to personally Repent (verse 12-14) 2.) I need to Repent NOW ! The most dangerous Word on earth is actually TOMORROW ! [Exodus 8:8-10] Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and begged, “Plead with the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. I will let your people go, so they can offer sacrifices to the Lord.” “You set the time!” Moses replied. “Tell me when you want me to pray for you, your officials, and your people. Then you and your houses will be rid of the frogs. They will remain only in the Nile River.” “Do it tomorrow,” Pharaoh said. Although you keep doing the Sin again and again ,you say you'll repent tomorrow . But the Bible says ,Return to me NOW . Not Tomorrow . What is the sin in your life that YOU keep delaying to Repent ? You have to do something now . I more minute of Sinning is equals to 1 more Minute of lesser blessings life ! [Joel 2:13] New Living Translation Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,but tear your hearts instead.”Return to the Lord your God,for he is merciful and compassionate,slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.He is eager to relent and not punish. Don't tear your Garment ! Tear your heart instead ! Return to God NOW because God is Merciful , Compassionate and God has Unfailing Love ! *3.) Repent in God's Grace* We don't sin because of Consequences ! If its because of the consequences that makes you stop sinning ,then use it ! But continue to MOVE ON ! Love is a stronger Motivation from Fear ! [1 Peter 4:8] Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. I love God so I STOP SINNING ! Holiday is actually a great time for You ,Me ,We to Grow !!!! Don't Repent ALONE ! But Together ! With your leaders,UL,CG mates,CL ! Even if you 're the only one to do REVIVAL ,be spark to d Repentance then Revival ! [Acts 3:19][New International Version ] Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, JYS in the walk with God !
